BK Lim

Founder & Co-Owner

BK Lim brings over 40 years of leadership experience, establishing himself as a seasoned professional in the maritime and technology sectors. As the founder and co-owner of Lighthouse eSolutions Pte Ltd, based in Singapore with a development office in Pune, he specializes in innovative B2B system integration solutions and robotic process automation (RPA) tailored to the procurement, sales, logistics, and compliance needs of the maritime industry.

BK’s career began in the Singapore Armed Forces, where he achieved the rank of Captain with a focus on logistics and received specialised training in the USA. He served as a Project Manager for new building in aluminium boat and later held senior position at Star Cruises, where he managed large-scale procurement, finance operations in marine, and business integration projects. An early pioneer in B2B eCommerce during his time at Star Cruises, he then joined Marine Transaction Services (MTS) to pursue his passion for B2B eCommerce.

His expertise spans strategic sourcing, contract and tender management, supply chain management, and technology-driven solutions, all of which have played a crucial role in transforming operations within the maritime industry. BK’s commitment to innovation and operational efficiency has earned him recognition among top professionals in the sector.

As a visionary leader with strong analytical skills, BK has a unique ability to foresee industry trends and capitalise on emerging opportunities. His strategic leadership is shaping the next generation of digital solutions, ensuring that the business stays at the forefront of industry advancements and is positioned for sustained growth.

Managing Director

As Managing Director, Roy is responsible for leading and growing the company, with a focus on innovation and sustainable progress. Since joining the company at its inception, he has played a pivotal role in shaping our journey — from starting as a Project Coordinator, advancing to Service Manager, Director of Delivery & Services, and now leading the organization.

His expertise lies in the intricate processes of end-to-end procurement within the maritime industry, specifically bridging the gap between buyers and sellers. Over the years, he has worked to build our internal systems and support teams to the robust levels they are today, earning the trust of our clients and establishing long-lasting partnerships.

His vision is to drive meaningful progress through a combination of cutting-edge technology and human expertise. Milind Phadke

Director, Technical & Development

Mr. Milind Phadke, co-founder of Lighthouse, is Marine Engineer by training, having sailed as Chief Engineer. He has an extensive background in various Planned Maintenance Systems and over 25 years of experience in leading software development teams, driving product development, and supporting operational teams. His combined expertise in software development and maritime industry knowledge brings distinctive value to the company. He also oversees the R&D, adoption of new technologies and skill enhancement for the development team.

Driven by his vision for the future of e-commerce in the maritime sector, he is continuously exploring advancements in technology.

Genny Yeo

Director, Delivery & Services

Genny is a dynamic and results-driven professional with over 15 years of experience in project management & delivery. She has a strong background in digital transformation initiatives, vessel deployment, business process optimization, and change management across various sectors including oil & gas, logistics, and maritime, within end-user environments.

As the Director for Delivery & Services, she plays a key role in conceptualizing and driving the successful execution of high-impact initiatives tailored to meet both current and future business needs while fostering innovation across the end-to-end supply chain processes. With a keen eye for aligning project deliverables with strategic objectives, she leads cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and quality.

Matthew Lim

Manager, Technology and R&D

With a strong foundation in artificial intelligence, Matthew has hands-on experience in the field and currently lead the AI research department at Lighthouse eSolutions. He brings a unique blend of expertise and drives innovative projects that leverages AI technology. His role involves overseeing research initiatives and collaborating with the team to translate complex AI concepts into practical solutions. He is passionate about advancing AI methodologies and contributing to impactful advancements in the shipping industry.
